Nature Photonics is a monthly journal dedicated to publishing top-quality, peer-reviewed research in all areas of light generation, manipulation and detection. Coverage extends from research into the fundamental properties of light and how it interacts with matter through to the latest designs of optoelectronic devices and emerging applications that exploit photons.

It publishes Review Articles, research papers, News and Views pieces and Research Highlights summarizing the latest scientific findings in optoelectronics and optics.

In addition, the journal features a regular .Nature Photonics Technology Focus. supplement. Each Technology Focus contains a unique mix of industry-related articles that cover important emerging applications and the latest product developments within a particular technology theme.

This 3-yr. old journal is already highly-rated.  The 2008 ISI impact factor for Nature Photonics is 24.982, according to the ISI Journal Citation Reports. This places Nature Photonics first among all primary research journals in optics and photonics.  Impact ranking: 1/64 in Optics, 1/95 in Physics, Applied   Due to high need here, I have set up trial access that expires 12/31/09.
