You may have seen the chartreuse colored word “Ask a Librarian” on our home page’s navigation bar. If you haven’t used this service, you’re missing out on fun and a wealth of information. Ask a Librarian has a couple of functions. This landing page provides standard ways to contact us: email, telephone, and in-person. It also has a link to text us, a widget to chat with us during Hale Library Librarian Hours, and a request form for one-on-one research assistance.
Sounds great you say, but what if you need assistance after librarian hours or you’d rather find the answers on your own? From the Ask a Librarian page, there are answers to over 100 frequently asked questions. Many of them have screen captures, images, and links to more information. Timely questions rotate and reside on the Ask a Librarian page. Clicking on “See More FAQs…” opens a list of categories.
These categories open like an accordion and display relevant library and university questions. Take a look and see what you think. We welcome feedback and suggested FAQ entries, contact us through Ask a Librarian.
