Somewhere in K-State Libraries we have a very special Content Development Librarian, Tim, who spends 11 months of the year quietly building our collections and listening to whatever music his officemate plays. During the 12th month of the year he rocks out to Christmas tunes. Although I once spent a horrific night in an airport two days after Christmas listening to every rendition of of "Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer" ever recorded, thanks to Tim, I have soft spot for at least one Christmas song.
For all of you dreaming big for the holidays, Tim and I are sending this one out to you:
What's your favorite holiday song? Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice -- we'll take any and all!
This year, I'm loving Annie Lennox's whole Christmas album. Here's a sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlsJD8RlhbI
