Are you new to K-State, or just wanting to finally learn the secrets of Hale Library, K-State's main library? We have tours for you--and we're even kicking them off before the semester starts!
The Tour de Hale starts at Hale Library's Reception Desk on the 2nd floor and takes roughly 45 minutes to complete.
By the end of this tour of Hale Library, you will know:
* where to ask for help
* how to find something in the library using the Catalog and Stacks Guide
* how to find your way around the building
* short cuts that will increase your efficiency when you're in the library to study or for research
Tour de Hale dates and times:
Tuesday 1/13 11:00am
Wednesday 1/14 1:30 pm
Thursday 1/15 11:00 am
Friday 1/16 11:00 am
Tuesday 1/20 10:30am
Wednesday 1/28 10:30 am
If you're familiar with Hale, check out the Library and Research Tools class. We're adding more to the schedule, but the first two will be held:
Friday, 1/16 1:30 pm
Tuesday 1/20 10:30am
Library and Research Tools classes run about 50 minutes and also meet at the Reception Desk.
We have a slew of other classes coming soon, so keep an eye out here and on our library calendar for dates, times, and registration information.
