Google appliance undergoing upgrades

I'm applying system upgrades to the Google appliance today. Typically, these barely interrupt the services provided by the box, but apparently this upgrade is more involved than most (from 4.x to 5.x), and it appears that there will be windows of time where the appliance will not respond.

This should all be resolved within a couple of hours of this post.

Google Search Appliance - RESOLVED

Due to changes in the indexing patterns on the appliance, results for www.lib.k-state.edu will not be appearing in search results for a few hours as of the timestamp on this message.

Update: after allowing a couple of hours for reindexing, content from our main site now appears again in search results. I continue to tune this indexing, largely to clean up some lingering issues with legacy content getting stuck in the index.
