WilsonWeb databases move to EBSCOhost February 1, 2012

As of Wednesday, February 1, 2012, all content formerly offered on H.W. Wilson's WilsonWeb interface will only be available on EBSCOhost. For K-State Libraries, the following resources are affected:

• Applied Science & Technology Index
• Art Full Text
• Biological & Agricultural Index Plus
• Education Full Text
• Library Literature & Information Science Full Text
• Play Index
• Readers' Guide Retrospective

These resouces are already available on EBSCOhost. Until February 1, they will remain available on WilsonWeb. These changes have implications at both the database and the journal/journal article levels. Let's look at them separately.

IEEE Xplore unavailable Saturday, January 28, 2012

Due to data center migration, IEEE Xplore will be unavailable for approximately 1 hour beginning at 10:00am CST on Saturday, January 28, 2012.

bX outage Saturday, January 28, 2012

Due to scheduled maintenance, bX recommendations (displayed through Get It Recommends in the Get It menu and in ScienceDirect) will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes beginning at 10:00pm, Saturday, January 28, 2012. During this time period the Get It menu may be a little slow but will still function.

Taylor & Francis Online maintenance January 13, 2012

Due to maintenance, full text e-journals and other content hosted on Taylor & Francis Online may be unavailable for up to one hour between 5:00 and 7:00pm CST on Friday, January 13, 2012.

Alexander Street Press maintenance January 15, 2012

On Saturday, January 14, 2012, Wiley Online Library will be unavailable for up to two hours beginning at 4:00am CST.

BioOne maintenance January 13, 2012

Beginning at 5:00pm CST on Friday, January 13, 2012, BioOne will be performing site maintenance and will be unavailable for between one and four hours.

ScienceDirect unavailable January 7, 2012

Due to scheduled maintenance, ScienceDirect and Elsevier e-journals will be unavailable from 7:30am to 8:30pm on Saturday, January 7, 2012.

Alexander Street Press scheduled downtime January 8, 2012

Resources published by Alexander Street Press will be unavailable during scheduled maintenance on Sunday, January 8, 2012, from 9:00am-3:00pm CST.
