Announcements

The team welcomes Jenny McCraw into their midst.

Horizon (server) and ENCompass have officially left the building.

Site Redesign

Hiro is working on a new version of the templates with cleaner code and a more visually different appearance from the current site than the previously designed interim templates possessed. One aspect of this new design will be a fixed page width to present a more controlled cohesive appearance across the site.

Membership

Thomas Bell and Jamene Brooks-Kieffer have expressed interest in joining the team. The team welcomes them.

LIT Sponsored Classes

The team went over the list of mini training sessions and tutorial ideas. Several of the ideas on the list are currently in the works by groups/individuals not on LIT, which LIT fully supports.

Mapping Content to Owners

Askey brought up the possibility of mapping the website to indicate who was responsible for maintaining which pages. This will aid in identifying who is responsible for specific areas, but should also reveal those areas which may have fallen through the cracks. Askey will begin this in a wiki, based upon the website file structure, and it would be up to everyone to help create and maintain it.

Loberg will work with James to remove the unused team alias address, librarywebteam@ksu.edu.
